HDB Solutions

Surveillance packages shaped around public housing layouts

Every solution below is configured for typical HDB dimensions, power constraints, and neighbour considerations — not copied from commercial warehouse specs.

Main door and gate cameras

Your primary entry is the most common request we receive. We mount vandal-resistant domes or compact turret cameras to capture faces at the gate and parcels left at the door. Wide-angle lenses prevent the "top of head only" problem caused by low ceiling heights on older blocks.

For units with metal gates, we advise on bracket placement so grilles do not obstruct infrared emitters. Where permitted, we integrate doorbell cameras with chime adapters that work with existing bells — no need to replace what already functions.

Bracket placement is checked so metal gates and grilles do not block infrared or the field of view.

Indoor living and utility coverage

Privacy masks and schedules keep bathrooms and adjacent units out of frame.

Indoor cameras help families monitor elderly parents, verify helper activity during working hours, or check on pets. We position lenses to avoid bathrooms and neighbour windows.

Bomb shelters are popular NVR locations: cool, lockable, and out of sight. When shelter space is unavailable, we use compact recorders that fit media consoles with proper ventilation.

Lift lobby and corridor monitoring

Some residents want visibility of the lift landing outside their unit. We angle cameras to cover your immediate threshold without recording deep into shared corridors against town council guidelines.

Fluorescent tubes flicker on many floors; we select cameras with anti-flicker settings and recommend supplemental IR only where it will not glare off lift doors.

We document each camera's field of view during installation for your records.

Maisonette and executive apartment options

Multi-level units need coordinated coverage between stair landings and open living areas. We run structured cabling through existing conduits where possible, avoiding exposed trunking in visible living spaces. Separate camera zones on the NVR let you arm upstairs while children study downstairs.

Integration with smart home devices

Where your home already uses smart locks or lighting hubs, we can trigger recording rules — for example, start high-bitrate recording when the lock disengages after midnight. Integration scope is confirmed during survey; we do not promise unsupported vendor bridges.
